A drug bust near Lakeland, Flordia by Polk County drug investigators turned into a nine (9) hour long Wii bowling session. A total of 16 detectives were involved the “search” which cost tax payers around $4,000. Best thing to happen in 2009 next to Kanye interrupting Taylor Swift’s VMA acceptance speech! Enjoy!

The wonderful folks at Nintendo have improved the Nintendo DS by adding a digital camera that will allow players to mix images, scribble on photos and create new faces.  It will make its debut in the middle of 2009.  It will also have an upgraded wireless functionality, and music playback features with sound stored in a memory card.  It will also brand the name the Nintendo DSi.

Other differences will be that that DSi will be thinner than the current DS model, and will have a bigger screen.

One of the things I am certainly concerned about with these added features is the battery life.  Hopefully they will work their way around that.  Another downside, more for me is that, those who already own a DS will now have to purchase the newer if they want the digital camera feature, which will be used in some games.

As usual, the new Nintendo DS will release it in Japan first, then will be available in the U.S. soon after.

In other Nintedo related news, the Wii will also release a new software called, “Wii Music”.  Players jiggle around their wiimote to feel as if they are playing any one of the 60 musical instruments, including a drum set, saxophone, and even a sitar!
