After reading this New York Times article on The Onion’s staff, I felt inspired to gun for a coveted internship with this forward-thinking publication.
Will they acknowledge my obvious and obscenely masterful talents and take me on board as their new leader? Or will they cower before my immaculate application and run like little fairy queens from my fearsome writing prowess?
