All Electric Delivery Trucks Are Real

I remember awhile ago I was thinking about how efficient it would be to put a receiving facility on the outskirts of a town in order to receive shipments coming into the town. I also realized you would need environmentally friendly vehicles to take the incoming shipments and then distribute them throughout the town. Apparently, electric delivery trucks are a reality now thanks to Smith Electric Vehicles.

Rather than semis and big diesel powered trucks driving through town, which depending on the size of it could be a real pain, they go to a receiving hub near the town’s limit, where smaller, more efficient delivery trucks take the goods and then drop them off at their intended destination.  This is the future of smart governing.  This is localization.  And if you believe in it go join the new Facebook group that I’ve set up to bounce around ideas on how to make towns more self-sufficient and help reduce their reliance on federal and state governments: Localize Your Town | Facebook Group
