    Wow, that is pretty brutal! Unfortunately our presidents are having a more difficult job as time goes on because of our perpetuated addiction to oil. Our currency depends on it being tied to oil, and the foreign currencies depend on the dollar, so as countries begin to use other currencies for their oil, our economy crashes… It’s a really ugly situation and I’m not sure that any human being can take on that responsibility and to anything about it. It will take decades to turn our country into a nation that exports more than it imports, and that’s the only way to pay off our debt if we end our global oil trade policies. Due to the debt and dollars in circulation, if you remove the link between oil and the US Dollar, we could be a third world country in months.
