Does your MacBook charger overheat? If so, this could be your arm…

Posted on 21 October 2008 by Brian James

When Annie dished out over $1,000 for her beloved MacBook she didn’t know it came with a complimentary second degree burn. Wondering how you can get your very own Apple branded burn? You’re in luck. It’s so easy you could do it in your sleep… literally.

i fell asleep next to it.. apple knows this. before all the skin ripped off of my arm you could see a small rectangular melt shape of where it had been against my arm.

More of Annie’s lovely burns after the jump…

Does your MacBook charger overheat too?

I woke up with a pretty bad burn on my leg. Think I can get a new charger out of this? Maybe some other stuff?

Wow, not suprised. I just had to give apple a call because i was using mine while plugged in and started to see smoke, I've been doing some research to see if this has been happening and I've seen a lot of people complaining. I can't believe they haven't had a recall on them. AND...if I were you i'd definitely give apple a call. Everyone falls asleep with their laptops on their bed everyonce in a while.... Hope your doing better!

You could get some SERIOUS cash for this if you reported it to Apple! Hope you're doing better now!

why in the world would you sleep with your laptop? put the damn thing down for once and unplug. you don't need to check facebook while you're asleep.
  • ??
    here is a dumb bitch.
  • Ugh that looks awful. My MacBook does get very hot at times, I'll need to be more cautious.

I wonder if Apple got in contact with her.
