A few days late (third shift haze yo), and still relevant… at least I think so…
I made it (albeit half asleep) to the famed Waukesha townhall meeting held by McCain and Palin. Here are a few notes. But first… how I called it…
- On paper- a tie – DUH! All topics where on target, especially when they talked about Life, and the sanctity of it. The pro-life message hasn’t, in my opinion, been held up as much as I would like. it would put more fire into the belly of the base, and give the “undecideds” something concrete to hang on to.
- Fashion wise – Palin… even the ladies thought so. I noticed more ladies “checking out” Palins gear than dudes!!! Man, I hope Walmart stocks up on dark skirts and blouses… I’m just sayin…
- With the sound off – Palin rocked the house!
- With my back to the umm… stage – Palin (us Wisconsinites “get” Youper speak derr hay). I will say that lately McCain has been lookin more energized. Seems like a little crowd rage was just what the doctor ordered. Oh, and that’s justified crowd rage by the way…
- Who looked more at ease – McCain. Palin looked a little “held back”, makes sense, when your standing next to your boss, you best not steal the show ay?
- Who’s the most “angry”- WE ARE !!! Alot has been made in the MSM about Wisconsin being “angry/mean/hatefull/etc”… whatever. We, not only as Wisconsinites, but as American conservatives have alot to be angry about, If McCain wants his base to get on fire, he needs to ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK!!! And no, I don’t mean personal junk, leave that to the MSM, I’m talking about attacking on clear issues that WE are passionate about…and attacking HARD !

- Abortion – Life Rocks!!! And everyone knows it!
- Lowering taxes – Obama talks about taxes going up only for those that make more than (about) 250K, HELLO… those are the small business owners yo! Tax those people, they ain’t gonna hire folks like me!!!
- Smaller government – You may THINK you want “big Momma” to take care of all that ails ya, but get a clue, the more they take care of you, the more they control and the more they control the bigger the bureaucracy. Tell you what, take a vacation to one of those countries that has this mystical magical government health care your always touting, get sick, and see how you fare…
- National security/war on terror – Hmm, not much of a choice there, you kind of want someone with experience at the helm… don’t ya?
- And NOW …preventing our panicked rush to “bail out the economy” from taking us past the brink of Socialism and yes, when your government BUYS AND CONTROLS BUSINESS’S, THAT’S SOCIALISM !!! Hmm, I guess that’s might be a hard some for my more liberal friends to comprehend, seeing as they’re already half a goosestep away from the socialist party as it is… I asked a friend if “socialism” was another word for “democratic communism”… and he answered “yes”. Nuff said…
- Oooh was that “fear mongering”? You bet it was, you need to be afraid of a government that wants to take over large portions of a “free economy”… because umm, by the way…that would make it no longer a free economy
- Wow, follow this, a governmental economy, a government health care system, we already have government education… are you still saying “liberalism” doesn’t sound a little like “socialism”? (dang, did that hurt?)

Hmm, are the republicans “angry”? You bet we’re angry! We’re angry McCain isn’t attacking Obama on the issues like he should be… McDude needs to stop playing nice, get back to “the basics”, and present a clear picture of what he plans on doing as President. Dude… sir’O ain’t doing nothin but preachin in socialistic vagaries, and if McCain wants to win over the “undecideds”, he needs to call O on it, and call him on it NOW !!!
FYI, it ain’t just Wisconsinites that are angry, seems like there’s a whole lot of American conservitives that are “angry” with Obama, and for good reason.
Are we “hatefull”? No. …Now tell me, how exactly is addressing the issues “hate speech”? Hmm? Well… I guess if your a liberal, telling the truth might be considered “hatefull” huh?
