The Republicans Are Back!!

Just when you thought it was safe to go into the political water the republicans and their smear tactics are back. On Saturday, gov. Sarah Palin started the mudslinging when she injected William Ayers in the political dialogue. Ayers was a sixties radical accused of bombings when Barack Obama was eight years old. According to Obama’s chief strategist David Axelrod, Ayers and Obama live in the same neighborhood and are friendly. The republicans are trying to link Obama to Ayers because according to them this goes to the matter of whether or not Barack Obama has the judgement to lead this country. These are the same republicans who are currently trailing in the polls and are finding themselves defending traditional red states that are now leaning blue. These are the same republicans who attacked John Kerry and his military record, assassinated Micheal Dukakis, all in the name of winning an election. These are the same republicans who likes to tell the world how much they love Jesus and how everyone else is doom to hell because they have a direct line to the God.

Unfortunately over the years the republicans and their smear tactics has worked. They seem to always be able to convince Americans that their way is correct and that their lies are in fact truths. The American people cannot allow the republicans to steal another election with lies. Barack Obama loves this country as much as John McCain, and even though he doesn’t have a military prison record to show his devotion to country, his life’s work has demonstrated his love for this land.

John McCain and his operatives are in trouble. They now the American people are on to them and their lack of ideas. The economy is in shambles, and George Bush and his cronies have not done anything to help the American people. People are losing jobs, homes are being foreclosed, neighborhoods are decimated because of jobs moving overseas, some schools resembles battlegrounds, and the republicans wants to focus on William Ayers and whether or not Barack Obama has the judgement to lead this land. The judgement that his lacking exist within John McCain who claimed to be a different type of politicians. John McCain who lost to George Bush in the primaries during the 2000 political campign, after Karl Rove and his bullies accused McCain of having a black baby and calling his wife a drug addict. Now John McCain is losing and he wants to get in gutter politics to divert attention from his failing candidacy. John McCain should be careful because if he drags Obama down in the mud with him then all is fair game. The Keating Five and McCain’s dealings are all fair game. Barack Obama was never accused of a crime or indicted for one. Who is the one with the shady past?

During the primary Barack Obama claimed we have reach the silly season in politics. These efforts by John McCain and his operatives are not only silly but they won’t work. People are hungry and want to be fed. They want someone that is going to listen to them. Someone that will not only put food on the table, but someone that will feed them the food of hope. John McCain has lost touch and his latest efforts are pathetic.
