Fashion forward or fashion flop?
September 30, 2008 by Jamie Villarreal

Victoria and David Beckham launched their new perfume this past weekend in New York. We all know Posh has never been one to shy away from bold fashion choices and whether you like them or not, her gift for being noticed is undeniable.

No heel?
This occasion was no exception. Victoria stepped out with a pair of thigh high latex boots. As if the latex leggings look wasn’t enough to get everyone’s attention, these Antonio Berardi PVC boots had no heel! Even with her tiny frame it’s remarkable she managed to stay upright 5 1/2 inches from the purple carpet that graced the walkway.
Need some of your own? A cool £3,300 will get you your own made to order heel-less boots. Obviously, Posh isn’t the only one who loves these as 60 pairs have already been commissioned and made!
What’s the word: totally fashion forward or total fashion flop?

[...] P.S. Umm…Now What? is looking for guest posters. P.P.S. I’m talking about 5 1/2 inch heel-less boots over at Rone Break. Fashion forward or fashion flop? [...]
How do you FIND this stuff, Jamie!?
Haha.
That’s insane in so many ways! What kind of calf muscles does Posh have!? I’m sorry, Victoria Beckham. Ahem.
I have no idea if this is fashion forward. BUT DEAR GOD, I HOPE NOT.
I have to give her props for the effort…
That being said; those shoes are nuts! Ha, ha! I’m hoping there’s a lot of weight provided to them in front, otherwise I couldn’t imagine trying to keep myself standing up straight in them.
I stumble in regular high heels.. I could only imagine the disasters to come from wearing shoes like those!
Those boots are insane. My back hurts just looking at them. Have you seen the ones with a little woman statue as the heel?

FLOP. For sure. I mean, really? How do those even work?
It looks like you literally just walk on your toes haha
i’d wear em!
Those might be the craziest shoes I’ve ever seen. While I’d never wear them, I’m curious to see what it feels like to walk in them!
Those frighten me to my very core.
