The 2008 "VP picks can't help themselves" debate; Dude... Biden's toast...

September 28, 2008 by Alexander Silva

For some strange reason… Okay, because McCain can’t win this without Palin’s help, and Obama can’t win this with Biden’s help, Thursday’s debate will decide the presidency, and it all hinges on Palin. All the remaining presidential debates will do is solidify “the base”, it’s the V.P.’s debate that will draw votes away from the O’meister.

Here goes…

The 2008 Vice Presidential Debate Rundown

  • Biden won’t be able to help himself and will
    • Talk down to Palin, enraging Hillary supporters.
    • Tout his years of experience, and by inference belittle Palins, fair enough, no big deal… unless he does it in a “look sweety…” tone of voice. Which will be hard for him not to do, thereby enraging Hillary supporters.
    • Look frail and over made up.
  • Palin won’t be able to help herself and will
    • Look almost as good as my bride, causing a panic at local vision stores who won’t be able to keep up with “Palin frames” fast enough.
    • Sound over coached, giving us all a good laugh for the next few days.
    • Bait Biden to the point of spitting, forcing him to lose his composure, throw his hands up and shout “FINE JEEZ”, which will enrage Hillary supporters. (It’s a gift all brides have…)

So basically… come Thursday night… Biden is toast.

When I was campaigning for Obama in PA this past weekend I came across a large amount of women who were registered democrats and former Clinton supporters who are now voting for McCain.
One woman even opened the door drunk and said “I’m voting for Hillary!” as if this were still an option.

The highlight of my weekend was when a mother and father told me they were still undecided about who they were voting for (they don’t like Michelle Obama) and then there chubby little two year old ran out the door and shouted “I’M VOTING FOR MCCAIN”

So my summary of my experience in PA was
    1. A lot of people hate Michelle Obama and they can give you no reason why other than she appears to be very angry in photographs
    2. People really like Sarah Palin because she seems friendly and they “relate” to her
    3. A lot of people said things like “It’s not that I have a problem with Obama it’s just….you know…..”
    4. This was worse than my experiences campaigning in Florida and in Ohio

    Drinking party thursday night? y/y?

Seems like there’s alot of people who are “undecided” depending on who’s doing the asking…
Interesting experiences, and I do believe the drunk lady when she say’s she’s voting for Hillary.
Drinking party Thursday? You know it!!!
