Mike Edison - Spoken Word Goes Porno Punk
May 14, 2008 by Brian James
Mike Edison, the infamous punk pornographer, has a new spoken-word album coming out in conjunction with his new novel on May 20th. The spoken-word album is a recording of essays drawn from Edison’s latest novel, I Have Fun Everywhere I Go: Savage Tales of Pot, Porn, Punk Rock, Pro Wrestling, Talking Apes, Evil Bosses, Dirty Blues, American Heroes, and the Most Notorious Magazines in the World . The album was produced by Jon Spencer, whom is also featured in several of the tracks. The album and memoir is comprised of over two decades of his illicit adventures of debauchery.
If you’re not familiar with Mike Edison, check out his Wikipedia page. Edison is somewhat of a modern, yet untraditional renaissance man. He has worked with numerous, highly circulated magazines, holding positions like publisher of High Times magazine and chief-in-editor of Screw. He has published 28 pornographic novels, collaborated with punk rocker GG Allin on a number of songs and recordings, currently plays drums for NY proto-garage band the Raunch Hands and leads his own band the Edison Rocket Train.

Anyways, if you don’t know who Mike Edison is then read my previous post Mike Edison - Spoken Word Goes Porno Punk. [...]
