The New York Times referred to this Queens, NY water world as an “aquarium for humans.” I like to think of it as more of a five-story, 55,000 square foot, adult-family friendly water park. However, this modern watering hole combines traditional Asian saunas and luxurious European spas.
Outside there are two large pools (one has a built in hot tub), all equipped with water and bubble jets for the ultimate massage. In addition to the standard sauna, there are co-ed Korean saunas, lined with salt, jade, gold, mud, colored lights and ice. According to the Korean medical tradition, each mineral has a different healing property.
However, Inspa offers more than saunas and spas, relaxation rooms can be found on the mezzanine where guests are encouraged to take naps or quietly watch TV.
Various rooms in the spa offer facials, loofah rubs, massages and exfoliating rubs. Now that you’re feeling pretty good, you probably want something to eat or drink. Inspa has a food court with a salad bar, a sushi bar, hamburgers and French fries, Starbucks and Haagen Dazs ice cream.
On the top floor of the building is a Korean restaurant with main courses and side dishes for only $12!
Don’t forget the outdoor pools are open ALL SEASON!
